ARE YOUR MASKS SAFE?

All of our masks are cotton triple layer masks with an antibacterial filter in the middle. All masks contain a nose wire interlaced to stop glasses fogging up and keep the fit tight. These meet the Federal Australian Government Department of Health’s recommendation for being 3 layers thick. All masks are machine washable (in a delicates bag) and use a light iron to straighten out. All masks are also disinfected prior to packaging.

WHAT IS YOUR RETURN POLICY?

Due to the inherent nature of Covid-19 Masks The Busy Bee cannot accept returns of pandemic safe masks.

We will accept returns of blankets or clothing provided the return is of a damaged nature-  at this time we cannot accept change of mind returns. 

We will re-evaluate our Returns policy at the end of the current pandemic.

HOW DO I CARE FOR MY MASK?

  • Machine Washable (Delicates Bag)

  • Wash your mask EVERY DAY

  • A hot wash is recommended (if possible 60 degrees)

  • Air/Line Dry

  • Do not Tumble Dry

  • Light Iron to Straighten

  • Wash Before Use with sensitive skin

  • If you have the elastic stretched beyond the ears to a clip/holder to ease your ears, please note the elastic will eventually lose tightness 


HOW LONG UNTIL I RECEIVE MY ORDER?

In stock items are dispatched within 2-4 days of the order being placed. Once posted, delivery is expected within Australia are typically between 5 to 10 business days. Australia Post is currently experiencing unprecedented levels of mail and with border closures, reduces staff and extremely high level of online shopping, you items could be significantly delayed. If you’re in a hurry I recommend express postage but even that can be delayed at times so please be patient!

CAN I ORDER SOMETHING CUSTOM?

Most of our products exist within our store because a customer wanted a particular fabric. So, yes. But please keep in mind custom orders take longer due to our need to both order and then receive the product, we cannot assure a wait time on custom orders. We apologise but we are all at the mercy of the pandemic right now.

MY ORDER IS TAKING LONGER THAN EXPECTED- WHAT IS GOING ON?

Did you check the product ticker? It is possible the item may have been one of our products we needed to order more stock in for. Otherwise please use the contact form to get in touch with us so we can track the parcel through Auspost. It is possible the current pandemic is increasing expected post times.

HOW DO I MEASURE FOR A CUSTOM FIT?

Use a piece of string and run it from the top of the ear where it joins the head, across the bridge of the nose and to the other ear. Then from the point of the nose to the point of the chin. I say use string because it's easy to lay on a ruler. Send the site a message with your measurement and I'll tell you what size to buy.

I REALLY DON’T LIKE WEARING A MASK - ANY ADVICE?

Make sure the fit is correct - if it's too big then you’re constantly adjusting it, too small and it’s too constrictive. You can put a drop or two of an essential oil (I recommend peppermint oil) on the OUTSIDE of the mask - it has an amazing cooling effect on the face 

ARE YOUR MASKS SUITABLE FOR USE WITH HEARING AIDS?

Yes! My grandmother wears glasses AND hearing aids, the elastic is soft enough to not disturb the hearing aid and not chase pain or pressure, but is still firm enough to create a good seal around the face. 

WHAT ARE THE PAYMENT OPTIONS?

We accept both Paypal and Stripe Payments. So you can pay with your email or you can pay with a credit card.

YOU DON'T OFFER OVERSEAS SHIPPING?

There is unfortunately far too much uncertainty surrounding dates and times of shipping to overseas regions. We didn't feel comfortable with some shipping items taking months and some taking weeks. It didn't feel fair nor right. Please send me a message if shipping times don't bother you at all and we may be able to work out an arrangement- we can organize an invoice for you.
